Lana Panfilova, born and raised in St. Petersburg Russia, has an incredibly diverse background. With degrees in the Humanities, International Relations and Transpersonal Psychology, she also has a certificate in Nursing along with training in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, T-Group Facilitation, Emotional Matrix Coaching, and Cross-Cultural Awareness. In addition, she is a certified Transformational Coach and Facilitator.
Lana began her career teaching Russian Language and World Literature to middle and high-school students, and most recently has been working as a speaker, facilitator and trainer for organizations interested in building trust, providing leadership through authentic communication, and transforming conflict into a safe and helpful tool to leverage diverse perspectives.
She has designed several training programs and has managed teams, programs, and projects for United Airlines, CBS Interactive, Aha Radio, and Adswizz. While at Stanford University, she designed and facilitated several training courses, including Cross-Cultural Awareness for the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, Building Trust in Organizations, and Emotional Intelligence.
Beyond her passion for teaching others the importance of “Heart Intelligence” (whereby individuals and teams work to overcome differences, fears and self-doubts), Lana is a frequent volunteer as a youth coach to support teenagers in the process of self-empowerment.
